Network

Reconnect with alumni in your region
OBA Chapters

The Oxford Business Alumni (OBA) Chapters build strong regional communities where alumni share ideas, explore career opportunities, and discuss business challenges. Through in-person and online networking events, these groups help alumni expand their expertise while staying connected with Oxford Saïd and the wider University. Whether through industry discussions or career support, OBA Chapters create a space for collaboration, learning, and mutual support.

Driven by passionate alumni, OBA Chapter leaders strengthen lifelong connections across the network. They host speaker events, professional networking, and student-alumni meetups like trek receptions and send-off parties. They also maintain online platforms for seamless alumni connections, facilitating career referrals, mentorship, and social events. Through these efforts, OBA Chapters foster a dynamic, engaged, and supportive global community.

Career coaching

Your career path will evolve over time, so don't forget that we continue to support you with continuous coaching.

Career coaching can provide significant benefits at various stages of your professional journey by helping you gain clarity, direction, and confidence in making career decisions. You have access to career coaching throughout your journey, whether you're exploring new areas or advancing into leadership roles, with a personalised approach to suit your needs.

Facing career obstacles is common, and a coaching session can help generate new ideas and reframe challenges, providing a way forward. One of the most valuable aspects of career coaching is the accountability it offers—you can check in regularly to ensure progress and stay on track toward your goals.

From practical application support to big-picture career visioning, personal branding, and networking, our coaching adapts to your specific needs.

Did you know that throughout your career:

  • You will make more career transitions than you might expect
  • Your career decisions are more likely to be value-driven
  • You will have to search for jobs more regularly than previous generations
  • You need to think more frequently and more concertedly about what you need to do in order to progress both within and across different fields of work
  • Get in touch to seek support for your career decision making, job search, application or negotiating your next package.
